It’s done and dusted! I finally finished my French Provincial Circle quilt! I can hardly believe it! And the best part is that I really love it. There was awhile there where I really was growing indifferent to it, even disliking it. You know how your mood and tastes change with the seasons? However, I’m absolutely thrilled with it now, and can’t stop looking at it. I have to find a really great way to photograph it now, so you can really see it as it is, the colours etc. But till then, here’s a picture of my quilt, my very first quilt that I began on 30th October 2006 with my friend Louise, finally completed, laying proudly over my grand piano.

Ooh, I looove the quilting on the white border thing! Very pretty! Looks like it might’ve taken a while…
yeah, pretty isn’t it. It took quite a few hours, a lot more than I thought it would. but you know what it’s like. this week, when the end was in sight, i just kept going for all i was worth. i’m so excited about it now. really happy!
I know exactly what it’s like.. Once you get on a roll, you just can’t stop till it’s done and time is not an issue, you just keep going as the end becomes closer. I bet you feel proud now! I can’t wait to see it in the flesh!
Really beautiful quilt and workmanship. I get tired of some of my projects sometimes.
