french provincial square quilt - back - work in progress
I’ve been piecing and measuring all morning. Was supposed to finish at midday but ran into some strife. What kind? Well, things like sewing fabric wrong side up! In too much of a hurry I think. Slowed it down, kept piecing borders and trying all kinds of combinations and layouts using leftovers etc, and now it’s just about done. Just have to wait till I hear back from machine quilt lady about how much larger the back needs to be than the front. Anyone know the answer to that? Currently, it’s 12cm. Is that enough? If I have to make it larger than that, I’ll need to buy more fabric, so I’m hoping it’ll suffice.
