And just like that, I’ve committed myself to another quilt project! The strong attraction of this project is that I’ll be part of an online group of quilters all doing the same project, sharing our progress and images of our blocks, and with a timeline that will keep me going. Love it!

So first things first. I had to decide on which Kona Roll Up I was going to buy. That is, which paintbox colours do I want for my quilt. I really liked the new Kona colours, but they weren’t available on the Fabric Depot site that has the Roll Ups at a really low sale price. I’ve emailed to ask if they do have it, so I might get both the Bright and the New Colours. Hope so. Anyway, their sale ends on the 10th, so if you’re considering it, don’t think too long. The Roll ups work out at US$15.60 each, once the discount is applied (you’ll see the discount when you checkout).
