My darling niece is going on her very first overseas trip tomorrow morning. She’s travelling with a group to Israel, and needed some of my “sewing skills”. She’d bought a beautiful travel pillow, and wanted me to cut down to size two of her favourite pillowcases from one of her spare sheet sets. You should see them, they’re so pretty! So of course I exclaimed, no! You cannot ask me to cut those beautiful cases! I won’t do it! But, I will make you some new ones. I chose Anna Maria Horner’s Little Folks voile; I wanted something soft against her face. So here’s what I made for her:

they measure 15" x 18" each

a pink one, cos she loves pink

and for a change of mood, a yellow one

they match nicely, don't you think?

hmmm, yummy!

I wonder which she’ll use first…
