Last year, as everyone was busy making beautiful Christmas stockings, I decided it was time to replace my matzah cover. For the past two year, we’d had to borrow one from my sister-in-law, mine – the one I received as a wedding present over 30 years ago – having vanished into thin air. In my blog and craft site browsing, I came across Molly’s Sketchbook Afikomen Cloth on the purl bee‘s website, and decided I’d make one of those to match. With all my injuries, surgeries and other things, it took me much longer than I’d hoped, and in fact, I only just finished the gold beading two hours before our Seder was due to begin – just in the nick of time!
