If I could, I’d sure go to Elizabeth Hartman (aka. Oh, Fransson!)’s class on machine quilting! Here’s my first attempt…
Not so good, right?
I had my machine set correctly, I think, so what went wrong???

Not so good, right? I had my machine set correctly, I think, so what went wrong??? Sorry folks, give me a minute! Accidentally clicked the “publish” button before I’d typed the post! Give me a few minutes and check back. Actually, I might just do a new post so you’ll know it’s the new one. Make sense? See you in 15. I’m so excited. Desley called today, my machine quilting lady. She’s completed the quilting on both of my french provincial square quilts (projects iii and iv) and is bringing them to Amitié this coming Wednesday morning for me. She said the stitching looks really good, the design I picked works really well, and she’s glad she went with her idea of using a different colour thread for each quilt. Oh come on Wednesday!!!!! All I’ll need to do then is sew on the binding, and they’ll both be complete. Will post pics as soon as I can. Appointment set for Wednesday 4th November. Booked it in, all we have to work out is the design. Woohoo! She’ll be able to do both of my French Provincial Square quilts before New Year’s she said, so that’s awesome! Now I just need to complete quilt B sometime in November and get it to her house. Easy peasy! |
