YSG! Grey Linen Butterflies Wristlet 01
YSG! Grey Linen Butterflies Wristlet

When I bought the dark grey linen to make a little bag for my exercise physiologist, Stephanie, I just had to make one for myself in this stunning linen. So, here’s another Wristlet from Nicole Mallalieu‘s book, “You Sew, Girl!” The top flap fabric is an Alexander Henry, Fulham Road voile that I bought ages ago. The lining is a dotted cotton by Palette Pleasure, and the grey is a beautiful linen, both of which I bought from amitié textiles in their gorgeous new Gardenvale shop.

I prefer a light-coloured lining in bags. That way I can actually see things when I’m looking for them! You know what I mean.

I like the way linen is so elegant, and yet at the same time, casual! Don’t you? I can wear this little gem anywhere, and pretty much with anything.
