French Provincial Circle Quilt
French Provincial Circle Quilt

I completed this quilt in October 2009. It was my very first quilt, one that I’d begun in March 2006 at a class in Maling Road, Camberwell at a gorgeous little quilting shop that no longer exists. Based on an antique quilt called Enduring Grace, it’s completely hand pieced, hand stitched, and hand quilted.

I love the back of this quilt too. I quilted this fairly heavily, so the quilt has a gorgeous weight and texture to it. It’s perfect to snuggle under on a cold evening, and perfect as a light cover on a warm summer’s night.

  1. I recently visited a friend in France and stayed longer than i intended. As a gift I want to make her a quilt. Your French Provincial quilt was just what I had in mind. Did you have a pattern to follow or do you know where i can get one. I live in Melbourne Australia.
