
This is one of two quilts I made using the same fabric. I’d cut 8 large squares from the fabric, then cut them in half diagonally to create 16 triangles. I machine stitched them together to create the fronts, and because the pattern of the material was not symmetrical, the triangles produced two different quilt fronts – this one has the wide border of the fabric on the inside of the square, and the other quilt, French Provincial Square Quilt B, has the wide border on the outside of the square.
